1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tab Out and related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.

3. Description of Service

Tab Out helps users capture receipts, itemize costs, and split expenses among participants. Features may require permissions: Camera, Photos, Contacts, Notifications. We do not collect location data.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

Payments are processed by Stripe or app store billing. Prices, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation policies are disclosed in‑app or by the relevant store. We do not store full payment card details.

5. Third‑Party Services

The Services integrate Anthropic, Stripe, Sign in with Apple, and Google Sign‑In. Your use is subject to those providers’ terms and privacy policies.

6. User Content & Conduct

You are responsible for content you submit (e.g., receipt images). You will not upload illegal content, infringe others’ rights, or interfere with the Services.

7. License & Restrictions

We grant a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the App. You may not reverse engineer, copy, distribute (except as permitted by app stores), or use the Services for unlawful purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

Starc Labs LLC and its licensors own all rights in the Services, excluding your content. Feedback may be used without restriction.

9. Privacy

Your use is governed by our Privacy Policy. Account deletion is available in‑app (see Privacy Policy).

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error‑free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Starc Labs LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA/PROFITS/REVENUE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Starc Labs LLC harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach or to protect the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time; in‑app account deletion is available.

14. Governing Law; Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. Jurisdiction and venue lie in courts located in South Carolina unless otherwise required by law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance. We will post updates with a new Effective Date.
